Talay is my family’s favorite local restaurant! We’ve been eating here for over ten years with only great experiences! The food is fresh, flavorful and the staff is always welcoming and delightful. With many vegan options, I’m always left satisfied. Portions are large and I’ve never regretted anything I’ve tried here! 10/10 recommend! :)
Great place to have Thai food. I ordered my favorite chicken coconut soup, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and Cheese Roll with imitation crab meat. Soup was perfectly flavorful with the bit of tangy flavor. Rice had bit more spices than other places and was moist. Cheese roll as usual, the same one at other places. The waitress was very courteous and kept coming and asking to make sure I had everything I needed.
Update to My One Star Review: Five stars now for customer service. The restaurant replied and made good on their promise to replace the order of spring rolls. It is rare to get that kind of accountability these days. I very much appreciate the effort. Prior Review: Very disappointing. We’ve eaten at this restaurant several times. The dine in service is always very good. The take out always lacks something. Tonight was the worst. The spring rolls were clearly burned but packaged to go anyway. They would never serve this to someone sitting in the restaurant because they know it would be sent back. We drive nearly 30 minutes to pick up food. If we ever do so again (not likely) we will open every container before we leave. As much as this food costs they should know better and do better.
Talay is one my favorite eateries. On a monthly basis I probably visit 10-12 times. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Food is fresh to order, and always hot! I work and live in the area so Talay is usually top on the list when I want soup. Would I recommend yes, and I do. Coconut Chicken Soup -soooooo yummy!
Foods are yummy, friendly staff, kids friendly and clean place. Kids love the ice tea! Plenty parking spaces. Sure will come back and try other dishes
Food was delish and I enjoyed the friendly service. Our waitress came by to make sure we were well taken care of and catered to us at the perfect timing. I definitely recommend the duck curry if you go. Crispy skin and tender meat, nom nom nom! It was sooooo good!
Absolutely outstanding experience! This Thai restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, every dish was clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of heart. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Service was prompt, friendly, and professional.
I was treated on a work lunch and the sesame chicken was fried to perfection. It's been ages since I've had tender and juicy chicken. Though I'd prefer more rice with my meal, it was delicious and I appreciated the prompt and accurate service.
